Tips for the night I lose my V card

So I'm sure there's some helpful tips out there. My boyfriend and I have been almost eight months and I'm 17 and we're going to a hotel resort as a vacation (just us) in about six days currently on my period so I'll probably get off like two days before the trip. I ushually shave but I'm considering waxing and also we're kinda scared about the blood from the hymen. It's not his first time but he's never done it with a virgin and he doesn't want to hurt me so it worrys him too. We're pretty comfortable with each other and have done everything else but any tips ladies???❤❤❤
