Boyfriend is extra horny during my period?

Is this normal?  I was wondering if this was a normal thing for his sex drive to peak during my period, and if not  there may be other factors playing in.

Sex comes with preferences and individuality. Him being horny during your period is a normal thing for him. It doesn't have to be a thing for everyone. My boyfriend gets horny a few days before my period starts 🙄 it's a normal thing for him. Just like, if a girl gets horny on her period, that's normal for her. I don't get horny on my period because I'm hungry, moody, and feel gross. That's normal for me. It's interesting he gets hornier when you're on your period though lol it totally debunks this idea of men not being as horny during your period because of the low chances of reproducing. 🤷🏾‍♀️

It could be an instinct thing. I always see the human species as just as much as an animal as any other creature on earth. Maybe the scent you give off while on your period gets his hormones going. I mean when a female dog is in heat, it attracts male dogs and they mate, so why are we any different? It's normal. I've never tried period sex, I'm just too nervous about making a mess. But if you're okay with a mess I would say try it.
