repeat anatomy scan??

Question

Baby girl didnt give up a profile shot very well and the dr said he wants to repeat the ultrasound in 2 weeks because there wasn't enough lip/nose definition. I didn't think much of it at the time but now I'm starting to worry they think maybe something is wrong?! Anyone have anything like this happen? I'm hoping it's just they couldn't get a good enough picture but I can't help worrying a bit.

I had to go back to see my sons stomach. Which is, apparently, one of the easiest shots lol . Tried for two hours the first time and saw it right away the next day. Don't stress. Your doctor is being thorough. Sometimes they just don't cooperate.

Same with me. No they just want clear pictures. I have to go back because my daughter didn't want to turn anymore.

Yep! Couldn't get a full shot of one of her hands. Went back two weeks later and a (different) ultrasound tech said "looking for her hand and checking on her spine" and I was like WHAT? Spine was never mentioned as an issue! Luckily, everything turned out fine, and like another poster said, my doctor just wanted to be thorough!

I had to get 3 anatomy scans because my son likes to face my back and wouldn't let the US tech get a profile picture of him. The third times the charm though. Finally got it!!

Yep, I've gotta go back. Baby was laying with her head under my ribs and butt in my hip with her spine against my belly - not a great way to see anything!
