reassurance?

Hello, 
I might be making a big deal about this but, I am 17 weeks 4days pregnant and get frustrated when I share a concern with my doctor or nurse and they reassure me by saying, "as long as you are not bleeding it's fine".  I know bleeding is not the only sign of a miscarriage or other problems, but feel like I am just going crazy when I worry about it without seeing blood based on what they say.

Take  deep breath and relax. If your abdominal pains are really making anxious, lay down and out your feet up. Your anxiety is not good for your baby. Pregnancy brings along a lot of discomforts and most of them are related to your body making room for your little one. I actually had some bleeding at the beginning of my second trimester (bright red).  My baby is fine and the rest of my pregnancy was pretty easy; he's 6 months now.

YES. I really dislike reading that or hearing that. I had an early missed miscarriage at 8 weeks with my last pregnancy and there was ZERO blood. 
But I've learned not to live in fear or worry about it. There is so little we can control. But regardless, I also strongly dislike that comment.
