Is this a good reason to permanently leave her??

If a long term couple are going through a hard time in the relationship (after a few years from stress, just having a kid, having no time for each other, etc.) and the woman just feels unappreciated and taken advantage of so she ends up leaving and staying at her moms for a days is that a good enough reason for him to permanently leave her?????

I don't think going to stay at your parents house to get some space is a good reason in itself to break things off. Sometimes people need space to work things out themselves before coming back and dealing with the issues together. I've seen that in my own relationship as well as my parents (happily married for nearly 30 years now). I'm a firm believer that any problem in any relationship needs to be talked about together before making a decision like that. But depending on what else was going on in the relationship prior to the space then I could understand why the choice was made. But to leave purely because someone needed space it's a good reason.

I wouldn't say it's a good reason but if that's how they feel and what they want, then.....it's their choice in the end.

I don't think it's a good reason. I think that's something that really needs to be a sit down conversation and figure out where your relationship is going and how to solve the issues instead of just saying "nah I'm done." And some time apart like that can do some good. But if you're both that unhappy, then yeah maybe it's best to just end things. But I think it should at least be tried to work it out.

That's called time to re evaluate where you are and what you want, he obviously decided he was happier without her and kid, which leads me to think he wasn't mature and responsible in the first place, it's sad, but best of luck to mommy, it's probably for the best

No I wouldn't say leave her. There's no telling what's real, what stress related, or hormonal until long after the baby. I'd say tough it out and reevaluate when that baby is two years old.
