Body positivity or promoting obesity
I had a discussion with a friend she hates the body positivity movement and thinks it promotes obesity because if you are fat you are overweight and should work on it and not just accept you are fat. I disagree, I'm not saying you should be happy with being unhealthy, but you should be able to feel beautiful and confident at any stage and be able to love yourself no matter what. You never know what stage a person is at, you shouldnt judge someone for being 200 pounds, they may have just celebrated losing 200. My friend said let's be honest thin people look better it's just a fact don't try and tell me a fat girl looks good in a bikini . But honestly I'm not a size zero I like the way I look, I still work out and I'm healthy but I like having this Renaissance look :p and it's hard to loose weight but she said not having time and not wanting to work out a lot is all just excuses, (thus friend of mine was someone who was big and lost weight so she's been on both sides) I showed her bopo panda ( instagram bopo QUEEN) and she was like ya but she's fat, and I was like yes but she's not obese and she works out and is healthy she just isn't significantly changing her body and having some fat us healthy. It was quite the heated discussion. She believes people like tess Holliday should not be accepted and are promoting obesity anyways comment what you think and how you feel .
