How to go into labor?

This is my second child and I'm 23 wks. Around 35 I have to try and make myself go into labor cause I can't get induced due to my first pregnancy where I had an emergency c section. I'm trying to push this time. Any ideas?

35 weeks is too soon to try and induce labor I'd say around 37/38 weeks u can then start natural ways to induce labor. Like lots of walking/dancing. Nipple stimulation. Yoga ball. Sex. Razzberry leaf tea. Pineapple. Spicey foods. More walking and dancing. Lol

I am an RN in a newborn ICU. If you're successful at this and your baby is born at 35 weeks, his lungs will not be developed nor will his temperature regulation. He MAY be able to go straight to you but I have personally admitted MANY babies born at 35 and 36 weeks who just were not ready yet. Please reconsider doing this. Good news is, there is very little you can do to "force" yourself into labor especially if you aren't high risk of preterm delivery already

I had an emergency csection, and I'll be getting induced on my due date if I don't go naturally before then. If you can vbac, you can vbac with an induction.... An emergency csection doesn't change that. You just need a new doctor. 35 weeks is WAY too early. 37 is still early, the babies brain isn't even close to the size it should be at that point. Let em cook!(:

If you had a classic vertical or t-incision it is very risky to go into labor- you could rupture your uterus. If you had a low transverse incision there are many providers who will support a TOLAC or VBAC, you should make some calls in your area to see. Also what is the position of your placenta? If it is a partial or complete previa, labor is risky because your placenta could detach and cause excessive bleeding. Talk with doctors or midwives about your obstetrical history so you are making informed decisions. If you don't trust your provider find another one.

You can try lots of things but your body won't be ready to have a baby at 35 wks. It's far too early and could cause problems and put baby into distress. You need a second opinion or new Dr.

I agree that 35 weeks is too soon! They say that giving baby at least 38-39 weeks to cook is best! If it's something your doctor is telling you to do that's a little different but he should be able to provide you with some safe ways to do it...
