Has anyone traveled with IVF drugs?

Has anyone flown on a plane during your timing of IVF injections? Just wondering if you pack it into your checked baggage and if you need a dr note or clearance with the airline ahead. Its liquid and needles.

I traveled with my hcg shots a couple months ago and asked my office the same thing. They said to just put it in my checked bag, and it was fine.
