I'm pumping and I see blood... is that normal??? I'm a first time mom...

It depends. If it's coming out with your milk it is NOT normal. Call the doctor. Otherwise when I first started BF my nipples split and caused them to bleed.

Could just be a clogged milk duct coming loose. Any pain, redness, or tenderness on the side it came out of? I'd bleed when a clogged duct broke loose. Just pump and toss til it comes out looking normal.  If severe pain, redness, fever, might be infected and need ATB.
