Should I be ashamed ?

Question

I have a bachelor's degree from a really good school.  After graduating the most I made was 16 dollars an hour.  I should have majored in something that made more money.  I am now doing a associates degree program as a registered respiratory therapist.  I love the field and the pay starts out at 26 dollars an HR with lots of overtime available in my area.
I calculated that I could make close to 65K working an additional 8 hours of overtime.  I feel stupid for doing an associate program after earning a bachelor's but I need to make money and I couldn't get into a physical therapy graduate school program because my GPA wasn't high enough.   Opinions????  Should I feel ashamed or am I doing the right thing?

Also I have military service which pays for my education.  I can't afford continuing education without the GI bill.  I refuse to get loans and add debt.  I regret taking out loans for my bachelor's.  However, this time I researched the field and made sure I'd make some dough.

Don't be ashamed! I have a BS in Criminal Justice and I'm a dog groomer. I also got a 2 year certificate in paralegal studies. As a groomer I make more than twice what I made before using my education! You do what you have to do for you!

You're doing the right thing, no need to be ashamed at all about it I'd be proud you're going and getting another degree. There's so many people that don't even finish their first. Really good job you're doing 🖒🖒

You don't need an education to make good money. I have an MPA and I make 0 dollars as a SAHM. My husband make 150k no college degree. But we started out making less then 25k in our early 20s. Work hard and opportunities will come to you. I would take some more classes in your hopeful area to increase your gpa.

I have a BA from a good school too. But my degree is in religion, so I don't have many options with that. Too long a story to tell for that choice of major. But, nonetheless, I haven't made much for the fact that I have a degree because it's not a very useful field in businesses.
