Question about iud

Hi ladies :) I had a question about a uid that was recently placed in my uterus. I had to get a mirana as an emergency contraceptive because my lining was too thick which caused me to have really long periods that suddenly led to anemia. :( sorry tmi.but my question is how secure will it be in my uterus while having sex with my hubby? I've never had anything like this before.He and I are super scared that he may puncture the uterine wall or something. :( any advice is well appreciated. Thanks so much for listening! :)
