What's your take on the phrase "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."

- personal opinion: the phrase is incorrect. "Sticks and stone" DO break your bones. But they heal- most of the time. You get bruised and yeah it hurts. But words....those can stay with you forever. Someone could damage you by just saying the littlest thing. It may not scar you PHYSICALLY, but it scars your heart, it scars you EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY.
