My son went to his pediatrician for a weight check cause he wasn't eating, and he lost 2 ounces in a week. So he was concerned, and wanted to check his thyroid, which well know Friday, and he wanted a chest X-ray and he said nothing was to concerning on it, and he wanted to move his echocardiogram up to this month(June) instead of July because he's worried that my sons symptoms point to heart failure. The symptoms in children are different then adults. They get sweaty a lot, get excessively tired, have trouble eating and don't want to eat, have problems breathings and a few more. He listened and said he didn't hear anything besides the murmur he already had and always has. I'm so worried. He has Down syndrome so I knew heart problems were a big concern but I never thought heart failure would even be a possibility. I just want his echo done soon so I know for sure. Has anyone gone through this? My sons only 7 months old.
