Yeast Infection?

So about 2 weeks ago I went to the OB-GYN and found out I had both a yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis. She told me the BV was most likely caused by having a yeast infection for so long without treatment, so she gave me meds to get rid of both of the infections. 
Its been about a week since I finished the meds and I started noticing some itching again a few days ago, but it comes and goes and is pretty mild. Is it possible that I still have a yeast infection despite being treated for it already? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Did you take mess for both at the same time? I've found that the antibiotics I take for BV end up giving me a yeast infection. And have gone back and forth between the two for a while a few years back. What works for me is to treat the BV first then the yeast. Also when taking antibiotics, I take probiotics too and separate the pills by two hours. So antibiotics then two hours later the the probiotics, that way it gives your body back the good bacteria that antibiotics killed off while trying to fight the bad bacteria. It also helps to wear cotton underwear and only used unscented soap. This helps body return to normal ph levels. Hope this helps
