I got my belly button pierced I kept trying to make it heal and it didn't work, so eventually I took it out, it's now been about a year and I'm keen to get it redone, do you think it's healed enough??

My belly button rejected twice before it stayed. I had the same problem you had with the ball going into the piercing. I basically had to sleep on my back, never slouch, and when I did do activities I made sure to clean the ball and the piercing at least 3-4 times a day. My problems stopped around two weeks of my third time with my belly repierced. The hole had closed a bit tighter and kept the ball from falling in. I would say repierce and just try to really make sure you're not sweating or playing with the jewelry too much. I'd also say to monitor posture and the way you sleep. :) try not to sleep on your stomach. Best of luck!!!! Go for it if you want it repierced

I could t fit everything in, so here's more info- the ball kept going into the hole and it kept getting infected and I'd have to put one of those loom bands(tiny elastic bands) round both ends of the bar to stop it from going into the piercing!!! I went to the piercer to ask if it was okay to get it re done she said yeah but leave it a bit longer, I've been applying bio oil and it's been awhile since I last saw her. Has anyone repierced theirs or know about repiercing
