How much milk does your baby drink?

Question

How long does your 4 month old nurse, or how many oz do they consume through bottle and how frequently? Also, what is your baby's weight?

My daughter is a little over 19 weeks and she barely nurses for 4-5 minutes only on one side, and if I'm feeding her a bottle she still only drinks barely 3oz still at over 4 months 😕 Granted she's on the smaller side at only 11lbs but she was born at only 5lb9oz

My big boy was 18 lbs at 14 weeks! He nurses 5-7 mins each side usually unless he's really sleepy, and during the day drinks 3 oz bottles every 2-3 hours while I'm at work.

At 4 month check up my son was 15lbs 6oz. He nurses about 5-7 minutes on each side and drinks 5-6oz of breastmilk when im at work

Around 14 weeks my little guy went from nursing 10 minutes on each side during one feeding to nursing about 6-10 minutes on only one side per feeding. He also would only take 2 ozs from a bottle, it was a huge victory if we could get 3 ozs in him. He would eat about every 2 hours. I took him to the pediatrician because I was worried and she said he was gaining weight appropriately, was getting more efficient at breastfeeding and was just a snacker.

Then this week he suddenly started taking 4 ozs from a bottle, every time. And stretched his feedings out to 3-3.5 hours.

So as long as your little one is gaining appropriately (making steady progress, doesn't have to be huge gains) I wouldn't worry. When their ready they increase their intake.

Mine is a quick feeder. She will only eat 5-8 mins on one side. When I'm at work she will eat every 2-3 hours and gets 1-1.5 ounces of breast milk for every hour between feedings.

Mine was born 5lbs 7ounces. At daycare she eats three 4ounce bottles. When she's home I let her nurse however long she wants. My baby is 10lbs 14 ounces as of 2 weeks ago. She's also had a cold. As long as your baby has enough wet/dirty diapers it is fine. All babies eat differently. We are 3% on the growth curve! But we're still on it! Lol. That's All that matters.

My daughter is 4.5 months old and weighs almost 14 lbs. She nurses on average every 2 hours, for about 5-10 mins. Much shorter time than all my friends babies! But they also spread out about 4 hours. I'd love her to do this, but she doesn't. After 5-10 mins she just doesn't want any more. And when she takes a bottle she only eats 2-3 ounces at a time.

My daughter is 4 months, about 13lbs. Started at 6lbs 12oz. She currently eats 4oz every 2-4 hours and she'll sleep 4-6 hour stretches at night before feedings.
