Just got weighed!

👩🏻‍🌾🐄
I just moved away from the midwife I originally started my pregnancy with because I had to move out of state. Anyway, that midwife never weighed me. She went by how I looked and felt and didn't feel the need to keep track of that specific number.
My first appointment with my new midwife was today and she weighed me for the first time since before becoming pregnant.
I admit I was a little scared to step on the scale because I have had a problem with becoming obsessed with that number in the past and I do not want to have that problem again.
I took a deep breath, looked down, and saw that I have only gained 15-25 pounds since becoming pregnant!  At 5'9" I had always bounced between 160 and 170 before, and I now weigh 185 at 32+4 weeks pregnant! 😁
I feel like this is an excellent testimony to being in tune with your body and eating however much it needs, but avoiding junk foods for the most part and being sensible. Listen to your bodies, ladies! Don't get obsessed with that little number! 👍🏼
