Delivered at 25weeks & 5 days

One of my biggest fears came true for me Monday May 22nd when I went into labor and delivered my twins via emergency C-Section ... I had been put on bedrest because my cervix was very VERY shortened. Because I was carrying multiples and at the time I was 22weeks pregnant, they thought stitching my cervix (cerclage) was too risky and opted for the progesterone tablets which I inserted vaginally once a day. Well! That didn't work either... I welcome Lillian into the world first at 12:00am weighing 1lb 12oz. and then came Desmond at 12:01 weighing 1lb 14oz. It has been a roller coaster ever since. They take one step forward and then several steps back. They are fighters, survivors and I am SO BLESSED to be their mother. They have a long way to go here in the NICU but I believe that God has a plan for my beautiful children and in a few months we will be able to take them home ❤️ please keep my babies and our family in your thoughts and prayers (if you pray).
