When is the best time to go on maternity leave?

I work full time and I haven't decided on a leave date. I'm due end of August or she can make her appearance early September too!

Try to wait as long as possible so you'll have more time with your baby

I'm working up until the day I pop this kid out, if possible!  I want to have the most time possible with my baby after he's born before I have to go back to work. I don't want to waste any of it before he's here.

I would suggest only a week before your due date as long as you're still feeling okay but I think it really just depends on how you're feeling.

With my son I worked up until I went into labor. I wanted to spend as much time with that the guy as I could. :)

I plan to do the same with this one.
