tips for a 1year old with separation anxiety ??

Does anyone have any tips or know how to deal with separation anxiety ? My one year old only wants me to hold him constantly. I love him to death but I can't even pee without him and go to the fridge without him getting upset. I try to keep him entertained, but it just doesn't work. It's becoming frustrating because all the things i need to do are just piling up.. :/
