Okay, so I've always wanted to name my daughter Audrey since I was at least 15. (I'm 22 now) I'm having my baby girl in august and I'm set on naming her Audrey no matter what. I have a friend who I'm not so close to anymore, and she named her baby girl Audrey about 2 years ago. I had never told her I wanted to name my baby Audrey if I had one so it's not like she stole it from me or anything. I just wonder if it looks bad for me to go with the name even if it is her babies name. What do y'all think?

There's no such thing as name stealing. Your baby won't be the only other Audrey in the world. Name your kid what you want!

It might look odd to her, but you're not close to her anymore so it doesn't even matter all that much. Name your daughter what you want. If she says anything, just say you've loved that name forever and have always wanted to use it. If she doesn't believe you, who cares. People will believe what they want. You know the truth!
