doctor said I could start food at 4 month checkup...

I plan on keeping Benjamin exclusively breastfed until he is 6 months, but at his four month check up today the doctor said he is ready to start food, based off of his head control, etc...  anyone else plan on EBF until 6 months but decide to start early??  He is sleeping through the night (most nights) so I do not feel like he is getting hungry too quickly, I am making enough breast milk... I am thinking I might just wait until 6 months despite the docs recommendation. Thoughts or expiriences?
