So first time mum; ive been watching videos and reading about how the placenta is delivered and some doctors will like shove their whole fist in your vagina?!? Is this true? BECAUSE HELL NO.

If your placenta is stuck they have to or you'll bleed out. You just pushed out a baby that's bigger than that hand so bleeding out and dying would be a lot worse than that fist. That doesn't happen to many people though. Usually it detached just fine.

Delivering the placenta is the coolest feeling ever. But once you see your baby, you won't care about anything else.

Both my children had my OB going elbow deep to get it all out. Barely even noticed once I was holding my babies. Seriously with everything going on down there you're not even going to care anymore.
