Period???

Okay so when is something considered a "Period"? I had brown discharge then a very light red/pink discharge for a total of 5 days, only when I wiped tho. I haven't need a pad, tampon, pantie liner nothing. It never got heavier, but can that still be considered my period? I have pics if anyone thinks they will help. I'm 38 days late btw that's why I don't know wether to count it as a period.
