Switching states with Medicaid

I recently moved from Georgia to Virginia and am trying to get my Medicaid switched over. I've already applied for Virginia Medicaid and have notified Georgia to cancel my Medicaid through them. Does anyone know how long this typically takes? I'm 27 weeks and am supposed to have a doctors appointment next week for my glucose test and I'm a little worried about how long it's going to take to get insured again.
