burry? cremate? or ..

If you were to loose your baby at 18 weeks and was giving a choice to either let the hospital take over the baby, burry the baby or cremate what would you do? I'm lost and I haven't been in the right state of mind since it all happen! Just want to hear some options!

You can cremate and if you are into this sort of thing, wear an urn necklace. So the baby will always be with you.

The hospital had an option for free cremation and scattering in a "scattering garden" at a cemetery. So disappointed when we went to see. I've never been to a garden without flowers :(

I lost my son to IC at 20.1 weeks. Though he measured 19.6 so that's the gestation the hospital went with. I couldn't bear the thought of cremation or burying him.. I let the hospital keep him.

I lost my oldest daughter who was a twin to my oldest son and we buried her next to my nephew who passed at 3 months from SIDS.

We lost our son at 19 weeks. Our options were pathology or cremation so that's what we chose. There was a local funeral home who did it for free. We now have all his paper work and both out bracelets in a lace envelope given by the hospital and his ashes in a little white box that sits on our dresser.
