cervical ectropion treatment and trying to get pregnant

Rhiannon
Hi I'm just wondering if anyone is able to help me -
I'm more sure if I am able to post this on this group but I wasn't sure where else to post it.
Basically I went to the doctors a year ago in 2016 may, and was referred to the gynaecologist at my hospital due to having cervical ectropion and bleeding lightly after sex.
I only just got the appointment for the treatment last month (a week after our wedding)
We had been discussing trying for a baby as we have been together for six years now and think it's time to start planning.
I was on the contraceptive pill for three years and have come off it last month with the hope of pregnancy.
I roughly came off the pill a good few days before having this procedure at the hospital as I knew my period would arrive a few days after and didn't want to have it whilst getting my treatment.
After the procedure I bled for a good five days (red gloopy clots etc - sorry for the gore)
And I know that you are supposed to bleed for a few days after the treatment but I just thought it was maybe my period - but I'm kind of thinking now that what if it wasn't and I have missed my period and I'm pregnant ? I have tried ovulation sticks and they are all negative and this week is supposed to be my fertile week
Am I over thinking all of this ? Help has anyone been though anything similar ? !
Thanks
