They just diagnosed our son with iugr at my 24 week ultrasound. We are now faced with tons of options. He is currently 15 oz and has a single umbilical artery (2 vessel cord) and also a rough looking placenta (they aren't sure how well it is functioning). His vitals look great, said his heart looks great, kidneys are functioning well, and his breathing is 6/10 which is normal for most 24 week fetuses. Said he has a 50/50 shot right now in the nicu if he were born. I definitely want to wait until his chances are better. We have a level 3 nicu and a level 4 nicu is also close by.  Our hospital is ranked top in the area for delivery and for the nicu.
