My nipples are on fire 🔥

This is my first pregnancy, I'm 18 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins. I plan to breastfeed my babies because formula will be way to expensive. Currently my nipples are so sore expesially when I'm cold. They burn and they are purple ! Does this continue all through pregnancy ? I'm nervous that when I go into labor and try to breast feed for the first time they will hurt really really bad. Did your nipples hurt all the way through pregnancy or does it get better ?
