Help! The day after my period is just brown Spotting, do I still record this as a period day?

I'm confused whether to record the last day of my period if It is only brown spotting and little of it. Is it still technically my period but the end of it or should I only be recording the main days of heavy red flow as my period. I don't want my ovulation calculation to be off and wrong based on my period data being wrong! Please help!

No! Don’t record that as your period. The first day of your period is when you first start bleeding (red blood). Spotting does not count. It will throw off your ovulation predictions. For me, I tend to spot (brown stuff) for one or two days before I start the red bleeding. Hope this helps!
