Anyone go into labour randomly with no signs?

I'm 39 +3 and have had no signs of impending labour! I haven't even lost any of my mucas plug at all yet. I've had no pains, back ache and I still feel like I haven't dropped yet though my midwife says he's engaged into my pelvis.
Everyone keeps saying "any day now" but I really don't see it being close I feel like I'm going to go over.. I was hoping I would get some signs in advance to prepare me for labour as I'm quite scared!

Me! I was 41 weeks and everything seemed the same, I thought I'd have to be induced. Then out of no where I started getting consistent contractions and water broke a couple hours later - i never even saw my mucus plug! Haha

I threw my sister a baby shower when she was 35 weeks. She lives 5 hours away from me and half of our friends and family so I threw her one down here. So she had the 5hr drive and said she felt great. The next morning she was getting ready to head back home and her water broke. She had my niece that night. She said she didn't even have cramps, no mucus plug or anything. Baby just decided it was time. The baby was perfectly healthy and they drove the five hours home the next day

People have told me sometimes there's no sign.. it just kicks in without much warning. This is my first and i have no signs yet so im holding onto this idea hah

My water broke at 36 weeks no Braxton hicks or contractions just lost my mucus plug like a minute before my water broke and that was it
