wtf is wrong with men

So me and my husband and our roommates moved into this house. There's no trash can in the bathroom and I started my period. I have OCD so I'm constantly hiding threat fact and I'm always wrapping tf out of my tampons. I've been putting them in the trash can in my room and emptying it constantly. (I'm a very sanitary person!) but everyone knows we need that trash can in the bathroom. So I guess after using the bathroom last night I wrapped my tampon set it on the counter finished my business and forgot it. That's my mistake. But I get woken up by my husband this morning very rudely and was like why tf are you leaving tampons all over the bathroom?? Then he continued to say well "everyone" thinks that's fucking gross you need to clean up after your self! That was disgusting. Then again proceeded to say well our roommate called me and told me you need to clean up after yourself and that that's FUCKING disgusting. But it's like? I didn't need all that, I didn't need to be yelled at and bullied. I'm really fucking mad because that's the first time I've ever done anything like that and I get treated this way. I'm sick and tired of this and I don't think I'm over reacting? It was an accident I don't see the big deal? Oh and our roommates is a guy also. But I'm just pissed because I clean up after everyone including pee in the bathroom but this you can handle!?? I'm livid rn
