Bleeding Question

I haven't had a positive pregnancy test but we've only tried one time last month and I got my period this month. It's been two weeks since I've had my period and I'm like spotting in a way today and I've never done this before other then when I was on birth control. Do any of y'all know what this might be or if I need to make a doctor appointment?! Help please.
