sex after stitches?

How soon did you have sex after having stitches? My son will be 4 weeks in 2 days and I'm ready for sex again but I'm so scared. I had a 2nd degree tear and a few stitches But I'm waiting until after 6 weeks to make sure I don't get any infection.

Had jagged 2nd degree tear and stitches, I waited 11 weeks. Used a whole lot of lube and it felt like the very first time 😩😩

I had sex the day I got cleared from the doctor at 6 weeks. I only had one stitch, but I did have a skid mark (it's when your labia tears and yes, it hurt like hell). It wasn't that bad. We used a TON of lube and went very slow. When he initially inserted himself it stung, but it wasn't unbearable. I just had him wait a few minutes while I adjusted. We went easy and I actually ended up having an orgasm.

I waited until the 6 week mark. I think I wasn't even ready then. 
Use lube. If you had stiches, it might feel different down there for a bit
