Trouble breathing?

I'm only 16+6 and I literally can't BREATHE. I'm always out of breath even when I'm lying down trying to sleep! It's to the point where I get light headed and start getting a really bad headache.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can cope with it?

If its SO heavy for you: go and see your doc! Could be a serious issue, could be low iron. At 16 weeks you shouldn't have so much trouble
with breathing!

Ive been having breathing issues since about 8wk5d. When I first presented to my GP with my issues at 9wks she sent me immediately to emergency at the nearest hospital! They thought it may have been a blood clot in the lungs (as pregnant women are more prone to them). They ran some tests, all safe for the baby, then released me after 10hrs with no explanation as to my breathing. Not particularly helpful but the most serious issue was ruled out at least. Now my GP just monitors me regularly and I have an inhaler to help. If it gets really serious I'm just to head back to the emergency.

So basically go to your GP or hospital ASAP as it could be life threatening.

I had a hard time breathing around that time. You are creating blood vessels and growing bigger and everything is just happening so quickly your body just needs time to catch up I was exhausted and out of breath for 4-5 weeks then it stopped now 23. If your doc can't find anything just be patient and things will get better.

I was told if I feel lightheaded or breathless to let the midwife know because my iron is a little on the low side, and apparently it can be side effects of anaemia. It might be worth getting your bloods checked to see if you're anaemic.
