38 weeks and 2 days. On 6-5-17 I went into the hospital for contractions I got checked and was only 1cm and they were 7 minutes apart. They sent me home to labor more or to see if they were going to go away. For some reason I couldn't sleep that night at all the contractions weren't unbearable but they hurt. Around 630am 6-6-17 I was in pain I was uncomfortable and irritable. I wasn't sure if this was the real thing I would try and walk around my house to ease the pain but it didn't work so I went in again I arrived at the hospital around 830am. This time, they kept me when they checked me around 930am I was 3cm so they had me walk around the hospital for a hour. When I got back they checked me and I was at a 4 so they got me back to my L&D room. Since the walk and during the walk every contraction I was getting I was crying it was painful! I got the epidural around 12pm. Got settled in bed and felt good! Couldn't feel anything and I was so happy. Around 3 they put me on pitocin to speed it up and I was at 6cm. At 430 the nurse came in to tell me they were going to put something inside me to monitor my contractions. The doctor then came in to check me before inserting it and said "uhh... I feel babies head she's going to come out without us" lol we were all surprised and I was so excited!! It hit me it was all really happening so quickly! 😍 I woke up daddy and told him it was time to start pushing. They prepared the room and I started to push, only 5 times and she flew out of me she was really so ready! Was worth every second of all the pain, contractions, and 2nd degree tear!! I'm so blessed and happy I have my princess here finally! We all love her so much!!
