Miscarriage???

I think I had a miscarriage but I don't know for sure if I did. I had inprotrected sex a little over a month ago and about a week or so later I went in and had the birth control implant put in. I missed my normal period time and then I got wha I thought was my period last night. This morning when I got up to use the bathroom a huge clot fell out but it didn't look like a normal period clot. It looked kinda like the pic below. I'm only 16 and I don't know if this is my period or if this is a miscarriage. Someone please help me?!?
