Period but i have to start my active pill today?

Hey everyone I have my period and these past two days I've been trying to get my pill from my pharmacy but today I'm suppose to be taking my active pill even though I'm on my period... Tomorrow the pharmacy will be open.. I'm I okay or not protected anymore ? Do I have to wait another week to have unprotected sex with my hubby?
