pets sense labor?

Call me crazy but can pets sense when labor is near? My siamese has always been close to me and always sleeping near me and even with me at night, has to be in the same room as me. Last night she wasn't anywhere near me, or when I tried bringing her into the bedroom to sleep she kept running away and today has been acting extra needy. I'm 36+4.
