Good Men, Bitchy Ladies

I've observed this for a while now... in high school, college, and even in my own family. It seems like the really bitchy and nasty women always get the really really REALLY nice men. HOW DOES THIS WORK. Wouldn't you think the nice guys would go for the nice girls? I don't know. can anyone shed some light on this?
