Any ladies good with insurance ? I was approved for share of cost Medicaid which doesn't help out at all because my share of cost is 3600$ my application also says Tranfer to Federally facilitated market place. Do any of you know what that means ?  My friend said her sister was also put on share of cost Medicaid and they a week or two later she received a a insurance card though Stay well or well care.

You should call and figure it out we can't really answer that for you.

But, you can sometimes apply for charity care at your hospital after delivery (or any other kind of care) if you are low income or experiencing some kind of extenuating circumstance. I had a cousin do that after birth bc her labor and delivery bill was so high she couldn't afford it (even with her insurance). It's not a guaranteed thing but might be worth looking into if you end up getting stuck with a bill you truly can't afford.

You need to call your own Medicaid and ask. There are hundreds of Medicaid insurance programs...no one knows exactly how your state and your share of cost works
