The actual birth or caring for a newborn? For birth I'd vote ring of fire\crowning with no pain meds. For caring for a newborn I'd say sleep deprivation

Depends on if it's the first or not. With my first, everything has been hard/difficult, but honestly labor and recovery were the worst/hardest parts with him and sleep deprivation was a very, very close second. I think the hardest thing with baby #2 is going to be the sleep deprivation.

The lack of sleep and when the hormones start going back. Day 3 for me after all my babies being born seems to be the hardest for me

Sleep deprivation...but sleep deprivation on top of ALL those hormones surging your system. I literally cried for 2 weeks straight. I had no idea what was going on and my family pretty much forced me to go live with my mother for 2 weeks. Lol! Looking back I feel silly but it's real and overwhelming! Also, I was paranoid my baby was going to stop breathing. Which certainly didn't help the sleep deprivation.

Hmm I don't even know! For me it's worrying abou what others are thinking about my parenting. Idk why this is even a concern for me :( but it seems like having the baby is hard work until you realize that a colicky baby is harder! Then you leave that colicky stage and the teething stage is hard until the next one. I think parenting is not easy overall. But so worth it. Their love and smiles make me everything ok ❤️hope that kind of answers your question. 😊

For me it was the lack of sleep and having a colicky baby (my first). Colic was definitely the worst, especially since I didn't know how to deal with it then (5 years ago). Luckily my second was much much easier.
