I'm 12 weeks pregnant and my nipples are dry. It's not painful or anything, but there is white skin flakes on them. This isn't normal for me. Is this normal or happening to anyone else? I'm concerned that if this is happening this early that I will have some real problems when the baby comes. I've been putting lotion on them after my shower, but it's not going away after lotion anymore. I even gently exfoliated them yesterday, but it's still dry. Should I start using nipple cream already? I also usually sleep topless, but since getting pregnant and having tender boobs if they are loose at night, I've been wearing a cotton sports bra. Idk if the cotton is drying them out or something like that, although wouldnt think that would matter. Advice?
