is this fair?

My husband and I have a lot of friends and family that live in town. Basically everyone we know. I'm afraid that if I let it happen, I'd have over 60 people trying to visit us at the hospital those 3 days! 😳 So to limit this I'm allowing only our parents and siblings to start. Plus I'm allowing him 2 people of his choice. Is it fair if I get to chose 3 people because I only have 3 siblings and he has 5. At the end of the day he's technically still getting more people 😅 I'm going to run it by him and if he's totally against it then I guess it's a no go. What do you think about it?

I think that's fine, I only allow grandparents and siblings period at the hospital lol
I have everybody else set up a time to come by the house when we get settled in

I'd let any family come but only at a certain time frame. That's what we did, only because I needed to rest and didn't want too many people in and out all day long. But having lots of people in the room didn't bother me. They won't stay long anyway, people hate hospitals and if you're breastfeeding most will respect your privacy when you nurse.

I didn't allow any visitors except husband n kids. Signed paperwork that hospital wasn't allowed to disclose that I was even there. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it was nice. N peaceful so I say it is plenty fair that u only allow parents n siblings. To me hospital is like having visitors in my bedroom n I don't entertain visitors in my bedroom. So everyone had to wait until I was home n ready for visitors. N don't just show up I'll ignore my door call or text and we can set up date and time. Point is do what works for u n hubby. With my first I let anyone n everyone visit and it was miserable. I never got to sleep when baby was sleeping bc someone was always visiting. U get baby to sleep n nurses, drs, and visitors r always bugging them. U can't do anything bout nurses n drs but visitors u can. Or I'd be boob out trying to get baby to latch and in comes more visitors. So I learned to say no to visitors. N I felt I enjoyed my hospital stay more after!

I was thinking about this the other day. It's either have 60 visitors at the hospital or have a steady flow at my house when I get home then I'll have to stress about keeping it clean and looking presentable 😩 I plan to make no rules at the hospital so most can get their visit in during those few days and you have the hospital staff there to help regulate.

I feel like all siblings should be there... it's there niece/nephew. they don't have to be there until after you deliver tho. siblings & parents of course, then maybe a few friends.
