Same initial for first and last?

My husband and I have a name picked for our baby boy, but people's comments about having the same initial for first and last are making me question.  I know plenty of people having the same letter for first and last and it doesn't bother me, but this is my child's name for the rest of his life so I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Lincoln Lawrence would be his name.  Middle name either Grant or Alexander.

We still love the name and initially I didn't see a problem, but the more I hear it, I just wonder if it's THAT big of a deal.  Thoughts?

My last name starts with a P... So in our case we're going to avoid P names and thus a P.P. Situation haha.

I married into my initials. HH 
Wanted to name our son HH (Henry ) but close family members got there first. So a little disappointed and no other H names I like for a boy.

My hubby is from a family of RCR initials.. Goes back at least 4 generations. Our children will have RCR initials. I see no problem with it, choose the name you want for your child. ☺️

Before getting married I was an LLL and I loved it! I was sad to lose my single letter initials when I changed my last name to hubby's.
