I have to find a way to quit this
I started picking when I was 11, I am now 35. I came to a kind of acceptance of it, and stopped beating myself up about it. But now I am a mother of two perfect little girls and they see everything I do. Yesterday my 2 year old grabbed the tweezers (my tool of choice) and pressed them to her face like I am sure she has seen me do a hundred times, I nearly screamed 😢......So I have to quit. I can accept it as part of my life but I will not allow my issues to become my childs. I am going to try pickaderms first, it is by a Behavioral Psychologist. I am trying this one first because this was the group I became aware of first (over ten years ago). The group seems to be still active and I know he had a book about how to quit, so I am going to give this a shot. I will keep you all informed.
