bath?

So I just got a decent size tattoo on my thigh yesterday, would it be okay for me to take a bath tonight? I believe I have a cyst on my ovary and I'm really hurting and would love to take a bath. Is this okay?

You aren't suppose to take baths or submerge tattoos in water. It get distort the tattoo, cause it to have infections since bathtubs tend to be bacteria breeding grounds, or it can possibly drain the ink. I suggest showering and letting the steam help you, or getting a hot cloth or heating pad/ rice bag and setting it where it's sore

Definitely do not submerge your tattoo!!! I second the heating pad and take some ibuprofen or tylenol... I have a thigh piece and I love mine!!
