Braxton hicks ?

I'm 28 weeks and I believe I just experienced Braxton hicks contractions. Can they start this early or is it just my baby putting me in a little discomfort ?

I've been having them since about 23 weeks. Not consistently, but apparently we can have them any time after 12 weeks!! How crazy is that?! Definitely normal though.
