Anyone else losing hair in early pregnancy??

I have 2 boys and I didn't lose hair until after I delivered them. Now, I'm almost 8 weeks and I am losing so much hair with this pregnancy, it is making me crazy! I lost a little girl at 12 weeks in November, and I lost hair with that pregnancy as well. Has this happened to anyone else, rather than having the luscious hair due to not losing any in pregnancy??

I lost a lot of hair at the start of my last pregnancy. Turned out that I had pregnancy-induced hypothyroidism. I started a low dose of thyroid pills and everything was just fine. I was never sure if that was the reason for the hair loss or if it was just a first trimester thing. Maybe ask your doctor to check your thyroid levels to be safe. Xo

I lost 1/3 of my locks in the beginning of my last pregnancy. Turned out to be severe vitamin D deficiency. In my country pregnant ladies are advised to take 10 micrograms daily, however, I had to take 70 mcg (!) to up my levels. May be the same case for you?
