Any first trimester pregnancy SPA limitations? are massages and facials ok?

Question

On another note, I am traveling (road trip) to Arizona at the end of the month for my husbands bday and we will be staying at a nice resort and spa. I am wondering what treatments can I book?
- if I'm not showing yet (just bloated) are massages ok?
- are facials ok?
Any first trimester pregnancy SPA limitations other than no jacuzzis and saunas/steam rooms?

I used to do massage. I will never forget four of us together doing chair massage for an event. One lady got up afterward and just about went straight to the floor! She didn't mention beforehand she was pregnant. But we got her laying down with her feet up, something to drink... She was okay, but gave us all a scare! So yes, massage is okay, but be sure to mention you need prenatal and which trimester you're in so they are prepared for you.

Just let them know they are pregnant so they avoid essential oils botbokay for pregnancy. Also let them know you are pregnant before the massage so they can avoid trigger points for inducing labour and contractions. Most are completely fine with it. As for facials, make sure they don't use heavy chemicals and you're all good to go!
